Meet Dr. Bartholomew
Dr. Bartholomew discovered her calling as a child when her pony, Patches, became sick. Helping the veterinarian care for him inspired her lifelong dream of becoming a vet.

Experience
Worked in both large and small animal medicine locally, focusing primarily on small animal care. She blends advanced diagnostics and surgery with acupuncture and alternative modalities.
Personal Life
A Palmerton native, Dr. Bartholomew lives on a hobby farm with her boyfriend, six cats, two dogs, and three horses. They grow vegetables and run a small farm stand. She also plays clarinet in the Palmerton Community Band and enjoys gardening, skiing, horseback riding, and reading.
A Legacy of Love
The clinic honors Sunniside Up (“Sunni”), her childhood horse, who inspired the name and spirit of Sunni Side Veterinary Care.

Referrals
We accept referral ultrasounds from neighboring hospitals through Simplisound, LLC. Availability: Tuesdays & Thursdays (afternoons). Echocardiograms also available.
